Menu Variety:
Our canteen offers a diverse menu that includes fresh fruits, sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot meals, and a range of snacks and beverages. We aim to cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring that all students can find something they enjoy.
Thursday $6 Meal Deal:
Every Thursday, we feature a special $6 meal deal that provides an excellent value for students. This meal deal includes a main item, such as a hearty wrap or pasta dish, accompanied by a drink and a piece of fruit. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy a satisfying lunch while saving money!
Healthy Eating Initiatives:
Our canteen is committed to promoting healthy eating habits among students. We follow the NSW Department of Education's Healthy School Canteen guidelines, ensuring that our offerings are nutritious and balanced.
Canteen opening times
The canteen is open every Wednesday through Friday during school hours. We encourage students to visit during lunch breaks to enjoy a wide selection of meals and snacks.
Order from our canteen
How to Order:
Students can purchase meals directly from the canteen at lunchtime. Additionally, we are pleased to offer Spriggy Schools, which makes lunch orders more convenient for both families and our canteen. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Steps to get started:
- Go to www.spriggyschools.com.au to register and download the app.
- Add a profile for each of your children, making sure you select Nambucca Heads Public School and your child’s class.
- Start placing lunch orders! Make sure you have placed some money on the Spriggy account before ordering. You can place orders up to two weeks in advance.
