N.A.P.L.A.N IS OVER!
Written by Lachlan-------research by patric
Special thanks to Heidi and Harley!
So NAPLAN is over and were all happy (some of us anyway)! So if you don't know what NAPLAN is (and if you don't know what it is I am quite surprised!) it is a yearly test supplied by the government for Years 3 to 9! We congratulate everyone who is participated and tackled the test head on! We asked our Year 6 friends what they thought of NAPLAN:
First we asked Dominic.
Patric: What was the hardest topic of them all?
Dominic: Writing tasks. The easiest was math.
Patric: Did you enjoy NAPLAN?
Dom: Yes
Patric: What was your favourite way to learn?
Dominic: Writing questions.
Next is Grace Holladay
Patric: What was the hardest topic?
Grace: Writing.
Patric: So Grace did you enjoy it?
Grace: It was ok, but it wasn't my favourite part.
Patric: So what is your favourite way of learning?
Grace: Group learning!
Last but not least is Indigo Sharp!
Patric: What was the hardest topic?
Indigo: The reading was hard.
Patric: Did you enjoy NAPLAN?
Indigo: Yes I did enjoy NAPLAN!
Patric: What is your favourite way to learn in class?
Indigo: I like hands on learning and group learning too.
That was NAPLAN in the view of Year 6.
Next we asked Mrs Fenning's class (all of them!)
So… out of 26 of Mrs Fenning's pupils, 24 students enjoyed it!
We asked the class what their favourite way of learning is! Some of the answers we got were:
- Learning from my mistakes
- Hands on learning.
- Group work, when we work with friends and we can help each other.
So now onto the hardest topic in NAPLAN:
- Maths: only 1 out of the 26 students did not enjoy this test.
- Writing had 3 dislikes out of 26
- Language is doing better than writing with 2 dislikes out of 26.
Thanks for reading
See you next week!
